The Neutral Paint Colours That Will Surprise and Delight You
If the artwork and furniture in your home are meant to be the feature, painting your walls in neutral tones might be an excellent choice for you. However, neutrals can be tricky, and as such we love to research which ones the designers are using regularly. One other thing, you might think neutrals are restricted to browns, greys and whites, but according to the professional decorators, there are others that may just be what you are looking for, but did not know it, Think green, anyone?
Now, if you are anything like me, help from someone who is well versed, and unbiased is always a plus when dealing with colours because I am so easily swayed by the catchy names. So here are those which I have found to be most popular amongst those in the know.
Benjamin Moore is coming through with the goods with their Aura in Peau de Soie (to me in basic terms it would be called tan) and Aura in Grasshopper (which I think speaks for itself, but also makes me want a minty alcoholic beverage. Otherwise, there is my favourite, made by Sherwin-Williams called Iceberg. Thus, if you want to stick with the old fashioned neutral flavour, Peau de Soie is for you, but if you are ready to step up and mix things up, you can pick from this neutral green, or blue.
